Unwind

Better days with your dog start here.

Unwind tracks walks, rest, and enrichment so the changes that build up over a week are something you can see instead of just sense.

Your dog can't tell you what they need.

Routines slip without you noticing, so walks get shorter, training tapers off, and the rest your dog needs quietly disappears. Especially with multiple dogs, it's impossible to hold it all in your head.

Track in seconds. Understand in minutes.

No complicated logging. Just tap, track, and see what your dog actually needs.

Stay on top of your dog's week.
Notice the week slipping before your dog does.
Live walk tracking, with encounters.
Track walks live and log encounters as they happen.
Spot trends you'd never notice.
Spot the patterns you'd never hold in your head on your own.

Your dog needs more rest than you think.

Too much exercise, not enough mental work, or skipping rest. It all affects your dog's behavior.

Rest matters

Adult dogs need plenty of sleep per day. Without it, behavior problems compound.

Track rest time, lick mats, chews, and downtime.

Stress lingers

After a stressful event, cortisol can take days to come back down.

Log behavioral moments and spot triggers over time.

Mental = physical

Mental stimulation can tire a dog as effectively as exercise, but in a healthier way.

Track training, puzzle toys, sniff work, and enrichment activities.

When you can see what each dog is actually getting, and what they're missing, you stop guessing and start making real changes.

Why I built this

I kept putting it off. I have a multi-dog household, life gets busy, and I knew in the back of my mind that one of them needed more attention. But I was overwhelmed. What should I track, and how, and when would I find the time?

Then we had a serious incident. Our behavioral specialist told us it was predictable. The signs had been there for days. The data was there too, we just were not keeping track of it.

I looked at the other apps, but they all felt like too much. I just needed something simple that would help me see what was actually happening, day to day. So I built Unwind.

Built for multi-dog households where keeping track from memory isn't enough.

Common questions

Will this work for reactive or anxious dogs?

It was built for them. Unwind started because of a reactive dog. You can log incidents, track what happened in the days leading up to them, and start to see which combinations of stress, missed rest, or routine changes tend to precede problems.

Is my data private?

Your data is yours. It syncs to a backend we run so it works across your devices and with anyone you share a household with, and it's protected so other users can't see it. We don't sell it, we don't show ads, and we don't share it beyond the services that keep the app running. We can access it to operate the app and to help if you reach out, but we're not reading through your logs.

Do I need to track every single thing my dog does?

No. Even tracking walks and incidents gives you useful patterns within a couple weeks. You can add enrichment, rest, and care events when it feels natural. Something is always better than nothing.

What if I forget to log something?

That's fine. Unwind doesn't penalize gaps. The value comes from the overall picture over time, not from perfect daily records. A few missed entries won't throw off your trends, and you can also log past activities.

Does this replace working with a trainer?

No. If your dog has serious behavioral issues or you need help, we recommend finding a certified dog trainer through IAABC or CCPDT. Unwind just helps you track what's happening so you and your trainer can work more effectively together.

Start seeing what your dog really needs.
